Held on Tuesdays in the Spring and Autumn from 1:05 to 1:50 pm, these concerts are open to the public and admission is free.

The Hall has a superb acoustic for chamber music.

Early Evening Concerts at Goldsmiths' Hall
Foster Lane, London EC2V 4BN

Exclusive to City Music Society members and their guests, these concerts start at 7:00 pm and are held in one of the finest halls in Britain - the magnificent auditorium of the Goldsmiths' Company.

Over the years many celebrated international musicians have performed here, including Edwin Fischer, Elisabeth Schumann, Francis Poulenc, Peter Pears, Benjamin Britten, Sviatoslav Richter and the Amadeus Quartet.

More recently, Society members have been able to hear the Borodin, Lindsay, Chilingirian and Takács String Quartets, Robert Tear, Stephen Kovacevich, Mitsuko Uchida, Peter Donohoe, Sarah Walker, Steven Isserlis and the Nash Ensemble.
These concerts are enjoyable social as well as musical experiences. Refreshments are available at the interval.
